Sweet and Sour Chicken Drumsticks
The variation of the Deviled Chicken Drumstick
Make recipe as directed, except combine 1/4 cup lemon juice, 3 tablespoons sugar, 2 tablespoons honey, 1/3 cup ketchup, and 1 tablespoon each soy sauce and cornstarch in small pan; simmer 5 minutes. Coat drumsticks in this mixture, roll in breadcrumb mixture, and bake on a wire rack until done.
Preparation:
You can marinate the drumsticks in the spicy yogurt mixture if you’d like.
Just coat with the marinade, place in a glass baking dish, cover, and marinate in the refrigerator for 8-24 hours.
You can make the yogurt mixture as spicy or as mild as you like. Add 1-2 jalapenos for more spice.
Or omit the spicy ingredients and use mild yellow mustard and ketchup or mayonnaise; it’s up to you!
